Clara John

Clara John is a singer-songwriter, loop artist and producer from Mannheim, Germany. Her music is characterised by retro synthesizers and ambient sounds that blend into harmonious arrangements. Clara John has been producing most of her songs and backing tracks herself for the past two years. In this creative process she deals with personal thoughts and fears about topics such as getting older, her own values and external expectations.

Clara uses homemade visuals to transform the stage into a world of floating geometric patterns. Together with her band, she uses various live effects and builds live choral movements with her loop station.
