A Jewish journey of downbeat electronic and instrumental music around the world, with much singing! By & with Shlomi Moto Wagner, Tayfun Guttstadt Shlomi and Tayfun continue their collaboration in the Institut für Neue Soziale Plastik. In this newly created programme they journey the world through Jewish music and bring these truly multicultural sounds to new audiences. Shlomi, based in Berlin and born in Israel, is an interdisciplinary musician trained as an opera singer who merges queer pop culture with classical traditions. Tayfun’s background is Sephardic music with a strong focus on Middle Eastern traditions, and he has long been collaborating with a great number of musicians from Syria, Iraq, Turkey, and Israel.
