BW-Premiere: »BACK FOR MORE«

For everyone who can’t wait until spring 2027: We are presenting the Baden-Württemberg premiere of the first episode of the new ZDF series ‘BACK FOR MORE’. To perfectly round off Festival Saturday, the actors playing the boy band (Tim Sander, Daniel Sträßer, Eidin Jalali, Tristan Seith), the film producer (Christine Hartmann), and the ZDF commissioning editor (Alexandra Staib) will also be joining us for a subsequent Q&A.

‘BACK FOR MORE’ tells the story of Flo, Kim, Sam, and Fares, who were massive pop stars back when they were teenagers. After the dramatic breakup (live on camera) of their boy band Rise—Germany’s most successful at the time—they tried to leave the past behind and go their separate ways. But 20 years later, their early hype catches up with them when Flo initiates a comeback for the long-forgotten band. Clashing with their old label, their ex-manager, a new manager, and modern concepts of masculinity, the question arises: can the four of them actually reclaim their past success and leave their scandal-ridden history behind?
