Peter The Human Boy

Peter B. Mathis aka Peter The Human Boy is a self-confessed slow rocker with an audible penchant for dreamy slacker guitar lines, nostalgic lyrics, vintage synths and, last but not least, DIY spirit. The self-produced debut album »Goodbye Summer« was released in autumn 2019 as a dreamy mix of surf rock and bedroom pop and impressively demonstrates that indie artists such as Mac DeMarco, Kevin Parker (Tame Impala) and Natalie Mering (Weyes Blood) have left their mark on the multi-instrumentalist.

With the release of his second album in May 2022, Peter opens the doors of his psyche a little wider than before. Stranger’s Life is a search for identity in a changing world, characterised by shimmering synthesizers, Motown-like grooves and psychedelic guitar parts. On tour through Germany and Austria, Peter and his bandmates Erika Schweighofer, Laura Keiblinger, Patrick Stieger and Jannik Rieß present their songs as an experimental quintet that has already mangled everything from Bob Dylan to Britney Spears in its set.
