Der Moderne Man

One of the most popular bands of the New German Wave is returning to the stages of the republic after their successful 40th anniversary performances. Mattus (vocals), EKT (guitar), Felix (drums) and Jenzzz (bass) had barely existed for five years as Der Moderne Man and yet the Hanoverians left an unmistakable mark on German music history. Der Moderne Man’s German lyrics and idiosyncratic vocal style are unmistakable, although there is a clear musical influence from Joy Division and Gang Of Four.
