Dirk von Lowtzow’s second book was published in March 2023 by Kiepenheuer & Witsch.

The book, entitled » Ich tauche auf «, is a diary novel about a year in the life of the musician. » It is also a portrait of the mood of a country during a pandemic, an odyssey of everyday life between doubts, fears, hope and love, and an account of the making of the Tocotronic album « Nie wieder Krieg » (engl. Never again war).

Dirk von Lowtzow will present the book in selected cities. He will have his acoustic guitar with him to intersperse the reading with Tocotronic songs from 30 years of band history.
