Anthony Hüseyin

Anthony Hüseyin is a non-binary queer interdisciplinary artist from Şanlıurfa, Turkey, now based in Berlin. Their work spans music theatre, performance art and contemporary opera, blending traditional Middle Eastern influences with classical, jazz and electronic music. Releases such as »Safran«, »The Lucky One« and »Project O« explore identity, power, spirituality and social questions.
Work at Maxim Gorki Theater and commissions from the Marina Abramović Institute highlight their international profile. Their current project, »Crime of Passion«, examines femicide, legal systems and operatic representation.
