With delicate brushstrokes of his sonic palette, wavvyboi tries to paint a canvas of emotions, once inspired by his father’s vinyls – from Nirvana to Jimi Hendrix and many legendary rock guitarists – until he picked up the guitar himself. He developed his own style as he explored the instrument, trying to figure out how to translate his emotionality into music. In the meantime he has found his place between melancholy, fantasy and 90s grunge. Fitting, because wavvyboi loves tragedy and pathos. Born in Liechtenstein, he describes himself as a »restless troubadour armed with a heavy guitar that provides a cathartic balance to his fragility«. Wavvyboi’s delicate voice is the ray of hope in his otherwise dark sound. It’s a contrast that, since 2018, has gathered a passionate fan base around him, guaranteeing packed concert halls.
