Christiane Varga

As a public speaker, futurologist, and sociologist, Christiane Varga engages with the question: »How will we live in the future?«. Her work consists of making present changes visbile in order to develop new ideas and concepts for the future. Between 2012 – 2017, she was part of the think tank at the Zukunftsinstitut in Vienna and these days, she advises major companies, organisations, and municipalities. She holds a chair for Industrial Design at the FH Joanneum in Graz where she teaches the subject Design Research. Her core message is: »Let’s understand the present as a prototype for the future.«
