Alexander Maier is a DJ and producer from Stuttgart who has been shaping the electronic music scene since the early 1990s. His sound ranges from deep house and acid to Detroit techno, always carrying a touch of melancholy. After early illegal rave events and club residencies, he became an established figure with international club and festival appearances, including Berghain and Robert Johnson.
As part of the Moodmusic family, he has released numerous productions and remixes for labels such as Compost, Hypercolour and Parquet. Since 2015, he has curated the »Maier’s Lab« series in Stuttgart and has been a board member of Clubkollektiv Stuttgart e.V. since 2025.
