A dark apparition stands in the fog and seduces with sweet words and loud vocals. Musically, Absteige moves between classic NNDW, gothic rock and electroclash. She claims everything that is shrouded in darkness as her own.

Lyrically, in a back-and-forth between metaphorical and as direct as snippets of emotionally charged conversation, her catchy melodies echo over minimalist drumbeats, rhythmic guitars and screeching synths.
