Städtische Manieren are an experimental rock band from Germany, oscillating between 90s alternative and contemporary avant-garde. Loosely related to Deerhoof or Sonic Youth, they explore with insatiable curiosity. Forms are dissolved, expectations subverted, breaks not smoothed over but exposed. All of this is framed by a voice that knows how to negotiate irony, consuming rage, ecstasy, and fragile tenderness – raw, physical, resistant.

Live, it’s not a concert, but a state of being: No safety net. No standstill.
