Mandhla

Mandhla. is a 25-year-old trans-feminine, gender non-conforming artist born and raised in Zimbabwe and now based in Berlin. Her work blends experimental R&B and soul with visual projections and performative dance. It explores the lived experiences of trans*, non-binary and femme* immigrant identities across themes of love, identity, sex and belonging.
Having performed at venues and festivals such as Whole Festival, Pop-Kultur and Gropius Bau, she creates immersive experiences centred on queer representation and Black femme* power.
