Alice Phoebe Lou

Alice Phoebe Lou is a South African singer-songwriter. The Berlin-based artist made herself a name with melodic indie pop and folk that is just as strongly influenced by 70s West Coast pop as it is by synth pop.

After graduating from high school in 2012, she first moved to Amsterdam and then to Berlin, first as a year abroad and later for good. In Berlin, the self-taught musician began making street music, which brought her great success – just one year later, she appeared on the German TV program »Frühstücksfernsehen«. In 2014, after the self-release of her debut EP »Momentum«, the first labels took notice of her. However, Alice Phoebe Lou decided to pursue the path of an indie artist, which she remained true to with her debut album »Orbit« (2016) and its successors.
